Schools

Bored, yawning, pigeon-chasing students… familiar? As a head teacher or a camp organizer it often causes a headache to figure out a program that gives the class or group a longlasting, cheerful experience. We highly recommend thematic city tours, adventurous city walks, and countryside tours. Our programs that offer the joy of discovery are the perfect solution for general or secondary school classes to expand their school knowledge.

Few ideas:

  • Mills along Séd (on foot) or Mill-wheel tour (by cycle) – beautiful Monasteries and Gardens, along the walkway, get to know the operation of the former mills and life of the millers’;
  • Powerful water – as a special closing record of our thematic time travel, we visit the Water Utility Museum, which presents the water-related past and tangible memories of Veszprém;
  • TeleSCOPE – with the help of binoculars we trace the special and tame animals, while we get to know the past of buildings, statues and the symbolism of animals;
  • Amusement Park Anno – recalling the atmosphere of the old Amusement Park, we walk around the boating lake and walk through the tunnel of the former pioneer railway;
  • NaTour – in addition to the former “biology-lesson”, we will learn about the Bishop Garden of Veszprém and the flora and fauna of the Betekints Valley.

If you have the theme/topic and the time you would love to come with us, please feel free to get in touch with us! We provide tours beyond the dates indicated in the calendar, based on individual consultation!

Additional tour options:

Treasure hunting

During the game, a mysterious piece of information is found out of a long-lost crate that allows participants to find traces of mills that once worked along Séd. In the midst of past adventures, participants will learn about the life of the millers and the operation of mills.

Animal advertures

An expanded version of our TeleSCOPE walk, where we come with binoculars to trace the animals that decorate the buildings and squares of the city, while learning about the past of the buildings, sculptures and the symbolism of the displayed animals. This walk is offered with gamification and meals.
